Painting A Brighter Image of Life

I told my friend I’d pick her up from Orlando bankruptcy court today. I’m going to make sure we do something fun afterward. She’s going through a rough time right now. It’s just scary to think that something similar could happen to me. She had a really wonderful job and, so, she started making some improvements in her life. Unfortunately, some of those improvements came with a price. She took out a few loans and she even made a down payment on a house. It seemed like she couldn’t go wrong. She was so ecstatic about this job. She said it was the first job she ever held where she felt like she was getting paid what she deserved. Anyways, it seemed like right as she was on a roll the management suddenly decided to make a few cuts and she was one of them. She said now she knows why it was so good for a period of time. They were trying to soften the blow. Since she was completely unprepared for that things took a sharp turn. It’s a pretty dramatic fall from the top of the world to Orlando bankruptcy court. I hope the worst is behind her now because she’s really been through a lot!
