NATURAL DISASTERS
It seems that in the past few years, the amount of natural disasters around the world has grown more than anyone ever thought it would. There have been treacherous hurricanes, a tsunami, tornadoes and even earthquakes. It is important to be prepared for the worst in these events, in order to have a quicker chance at disaster recovery. It seems that the go to thing to do when there is a large disaster is getting as many possible celebrities and musicians together in one place and have a telethon to raise money for the victims of the disaster. While I think that it is great that people are willing to take action to help other people, I think the important work goes down on a much smaller scale. It is the groups like habitat for humanity that go to the disaster zone and rebuild homes that make a big difference. Even smaller than that, it is the companies that do disaster recovery for major corporations and all of their important data. Being able to get back to work and make the economy function again is huge, and having all your data protected is major. There are so many levels of disaster recovery that people do not even realize.
