The magazine that I write for has a whole online data storage system that helps everybody submit his or her stories, artwork and photographs, as well as keeps everything else organized that the magazine would need. I write and take pictures freelance for the magazine, so it is a great resource for me to have. I do not have to worry about anything except putting my final article in the proper folder, and making sure I edit my own work enough. My editor always tells me that I have more red ink on my articles than anyone else at the magazine. I guess I should have paid more attention in those classes back in college, but it has not kept me from getting a job yet. The online data storage system works really great for me when I am on site at festivals. A lot of time the internet works very slowly there, so I can keep all my work in my folder on the online data storage system and my editor can post all what I put on there on the blog. That way my editor can pick and chose all of the photos that he wants to use, as well as organize my writing so it fits and reads well.
