CONCERT AT STARR THEATER

We had a great time at the concert. It was at the Starr Theater in Merriville Bankruptcy was on the minds of our friends, Todd and Marie, so we decided to treat them to a show there. It was a 50’s and 60’s oldies review. Some of the bands I had heard of, and some I hadn’t. We were sitting close up; they were great seats. The bands came on and played their songs. Many in the audience looked to be grandparents, but that was okay. It was a pleasant evening. Then the guy who I saw at Minor Dunn’s came on. Michelle was excited. She was a big Beatles fan, though I wasn’t. I wouldn’t know a Beatle from a Byrd, but she did. In way too much detail. Todd and Marie seemed to know about him, too. He played some songs, then stopped and talked about meeting a bloke in a restaurant earlier in the day. He related the story I told about Todd and Marie, and then dedicated the next song to them, by name. The song was “It Don’t Come Easy”. Todd and Marie looked at each other, then looked at me. I was surprised of course, then worried, because I didn’t tell Michelle that I had met Ringo Starr at Minor Dunn’s earlier in the day.
